Care Clean

The staff have been friendly and helpful I will praise them there! As for the repairs/alteration service they use, that was atrocious! They did not do what I had asked but once I had explained what needed to be corrected, the second time was even worst (they altered the part that was already fine); the guy in Care Clean admitted it was his fault as he failed to tell the tailor what needed to be done the second time. My issue here is once reaching the tailors now for a third time he (the tailor) refused to do anymore work on it but said he could alter it to its original state and I could get a refund which is absolutely ridiculous as he might as well do what he was meant to do in the first place as he will be more than half way there trying to alter it to its original state! It is disgusting customer service and I do not recommend using this repair/alterations service!

I sent my mattress topper in to be cleaned through OK leisure in Okehampton and when I first enquired about it being ready, was told it was proving difficult to dry. They have cleaned one for me before which was perfect.This one was returned with a rip in the seam where the elastic which secures the topper to the mattress was pulled off. This was pinned with three safety pins which have left nasty rust marks on my topper.More worryingly, It also has lots of blood spatters in several places. It appears that whoever pinned the elastic back in place pricked themselves badly and bled all over the topper! It was returned to me in that condition! It also has water mark staining where its not been dried quickly enough. I telephoned and spoke to the the manager/owner and he said the spin was insufficient in retrospect. I have rejected the topper under my rights under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 as I do not want to sleep on something which has had some stranger's blood all over it !! I am awaiting a response and will post further details.

Runied Coat - Owner Rude - Refused To Take Liability!!!!I recently took in my designer coat, when I picked it up it was heavily marked and scuffed.Upon making an initial complaint, the lady working in the shop accepted liability and was really helpful, said she would take the coat back and get the owner to call me.The owner' Nick' then called my Wife up and was really rude to her saying the coat was already damaged etc.I then called 'Nick' myself who advised he thinks the coat was already damaged and that was the end of it.When I said to Nick that surely this would have to be agreed when I dropped off the coat and as this was never mentioned.Nick basically said it's not his fault, nothing he can do, nothing he wants to do and that is the end of it.DO NOT use this establishment!!!!!!!

Damaged an item and later claimed that the item was damaged before cleaning - even after staff confirmed at time of drop off the item was fine. Ruined an expensive designer item - no longer wearable, no compensation

I travel extensively and usually have my cleaning done in California or Singapore, because dry cleaners in the UK are so awful. I just used Care Clean for the first time, and was very impressed with the first class job they did on my corduroy garments, which are notoriously difficult to clean and press. Highly recommended.

I have been using Care Clean for over 15 years now, and wouldn't go anywhere else! The staff are always helpful and polite, and I really like the fact that it is a family owned business, and you therefore get what I would consider to be a more personal service.Helen and Nick have cleaned several delicate items for me, including evening dresses, and I have always been thrilled with the results.I wouldn't use any other dry cleaning service!

Quick, reliable and good results. Only negative, lady who greeted me was rather rude! I owner was a very nice chap. (Would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for the rude lady at the till).

Amazing. We asked to have a table cloth cleaned. It was absolutely covered in candle wax spills. The word ruined sprang to mind when I looked at it, I didn't think it could be cleaned. Less than a week later and it's spotless, I can't believe it. Very reasonable price, Nick responded quickly to emails, and they collect items from various shops outside of Exeter, brilliant for us countryside folk! Fantastic service, we'll use Care Clean when we need something cleaned in future.

Excellent service and customer service. Got my custom suit in a bit of a state after a free bar wedding. After reading some articles online I started to think it might be impossible to find a dry cleaners who would take it in that state, let alone get it clean. Care Clean did just that, took it without fuss and cleaned it immaculately. No stains, no odors. I offered to pay extra for them to put additional time and effort into the suit, but they refused, remarking "that is the service that we promise anyway." Friendly and efficient, I will no longer use any other service in Exeter. The only recommendation for improved that I could possibly think of (if really pushed), is the use of plastic wrapping when collecting my suit. Not sure if they could find a biodegradable alternative, though I am sure that if my suit bag didn't smell so heavily of vomit I could have used that and left the bag.

Unexpected happy, I bring my king size mattress cover with marks on it which in other place they said to me it couldn’t be clean and it might brake , I take it back with no marks, very happy, well done guys!!!

Great service and pricing. Really took care of my designer leather clothing. Everything was super clean and smelt amazing. Staff lovely. My new regular dry cleaner! Highly recommend
