The Sneaker Shack Sandton Mandela Square

White and beige nubuck/suede sneakers were not properly cleaned. Shop attendant agreed and offered me a free wash. I hope to take him up on the offer on my return.

Left 3 pairs of shoes for cleaning. 1 pair wasn’t ready at the correct time and there was no communication until I went to the shop to collect, had to come back the next day for that one pair. Another pair was ruined as they used bleach to clean it because the shoes were brown suede and upon collection, the front was white. The third pair had the wrong laces put on them. Overall terrible service and customer service, there is no number listed even to get in contact with the branch - the main WhatsApp line takes forever to respond and additionally cannot even connect you to the individual store so what’s the point of it? Would never recommend this place to anyone, would actually recommend that no one uses them.

I specifically asked for de-yellowing however this clearly was not done and the shoes looked the same before and after.

Customer Service was excellent as well as the cleaning service on my sneakers. I’m very happy and will definitely return.

Not washed properly, I had to leave them for other day but still not happy.

I am not happy about the end result. I brought in 2 pairs of sneakers nike jordans and puma suede XL - with the nike sneakers it looked like it was just wiped with a cloth and sprayed with something to make it shiny. With the Puma black suede XL - the suede was damaged seemed the ladies scrubbed the suede too hard and you dony scrub suede even I know that. The shoes werent that dirty and they brand new and the only reason it was brought to sneaker shack to get cleaned was so that the suede could be washed correctly. I paid more for the Suede because of the material yet your ladies damaged the suede make that make sense ?????? I need this resolved . #8593. Another Issue I have with the Suede pair is the back part- there is a white block with the puma logo which is gold. I was asked the lady why the white was not cleaned because its still dirty her response to me was that she didnt want to damage the gold puma logo , my question again is should you not have experience in this esp if your prices are the way it is?

I was told that they were only willing to do a deep clean and my sneakers came back with additional brown spots which were not present before.

One of the three sneakers is now yello in colour and not white
